Mr. Capone joined Gleacher & Company in 2009 as a Principal in its Advisory group based in New York City. Prior to joining Gleacher & Company, Mr. Capone was Co-Head of the Distressed group at SAC Capital Advisors. Formerly, he worked as a Senior Research Analyst / Portfolio Manager at Ahab Capital Management. Before joining Ahab, Mr. Capone was a Senior Associate / Vice President in the Restructuring group at Jefferies where he focused on advising both debtors and creditors in both in- and out-of-court restructurings. Prior to Jefferies, he worked as an Associate in the Restructuring group at Rothschild and as an Analyst in Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin’s Restructuring group. Mr. Capone began his career at Zolfo Cooper LLC, a boutique specializing in turnarounds and reorganizations of distressed companies. He received a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
