Read Morton

Mr. Morton joined Gleacher Partners in June 2007 after having practiced law for 37 years and has significant experience in real estate and large private company transactions.  He was most recently with Burr & Forman LLP in Atlanta in their Business Section.

Mr. Morton received his J.D., cum laude, in 1973 and his B.A. in History in 1964 from the University of Georgia.  During law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review.  He is Chairman Emeritus and currently on the Executive Committee of the University of Georgia Foundation, and he is on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Camp Sunshine.
